Gold-plated jewelry
Gold-plated jewelry has a layer of gold applied over another metal. The base metal, plating details, and other components can vary by design, so the exact information provided on each product page is the most reliable reference for that piece.
Plated finishes can change gradually with wear and exposure to moisture, perfume, creams, chlorine, salt water, and chemicals. This is normal wear rather than a defect. Gentle care helps preserve the color and finish for longer.
Handmade pieces
“Handmade” describes how a piece is created or assembled; it is not a material. Soleth’s handmade designs may combine beads, crystals, semiprecious stones, cords, or other decorative elements. Clasps, closures, chains, and other components may be gold-plated when stated in the product description.
Because they are made by hand, small variations in color, shape, or arrangement can occur. These differences are part of the process and make each piece special.
Solid gold 14K and 18K
Our solid gold collection includes pieces made from 14K or 18K gold alloy, as identified on the product page. These are separate from gold-plated jewelry: the gold is part of the metal itself rather than a surface layer.
Solid gold is made with gold and other metals to provide strength and wearability. The karat value indicates the proportion of gold in the alloy. Always review the individual product description for the specific karat, dimensions, and other available details.
Water resistance and sensitive skin
Not every Soleth piece is waterproof or suitable for every sensitivity. Only products specifically identified as waterproof, hypoallergenic, nickel-free, or suitable for sensitive skin should be understood to have that characteristic.
